Hamster Wheel Hermit Crab Exercise

Provide your hermit crab with a hamster wheel for exercise! Buy a solid surface hamster wheel or make your own out of a CD spindle case or bowl. Hang the wheel on the wall of your crab cage or tank just above the ground so that your crab can easily climb into and out of the wheel. Consider cutting a piece of a coconut fiber mat to fit along the inside track of the wheel and attaching it in place with Velcro fasteners for your crabs to have added traction on the wheel.
