Oatmeal Cookie Goat Treats

Bake a sweet treat for your goats! Combine the sugar and shortening in a bowl and beat the ingredients into a cream. Add the molasses and egg to the mixture. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda, and add the sifted ingredients to the mixture and stir in the vanilla extract and oats. Spoon the dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake the treats.
