Placemat Rodent Hammock

Use a placemat to make a hammock for your rats or other small rodents! Cut two pieces of fleece to the size of the placemat. Fold one piece of fleece in half, fold it in half again and pace the folded fleece across the center of the back of the placemat. Place the second piece of fleece on top, sew around the edges of the folded piece of fleece and sew the edges of the placemat and fabric together. Cut two pieces of ribbon, place a lanyard clip or spring hook on each piece of ribbon and sew the ribbons into the top of the hammock.
