DIY Heat Lamp Cover

Enclose your pet’s heat lamp or other light bulb in their cage to protect them from getting burned! Cut a circle of vinyl-coated wire mesh that is the ideal size for the size of bulb being used. Cut a rectangle of the same mesh to the height needed for the lamp and the length that equals the circle’s circumference. Use pliers to wrap the edges of the wire around each other to attach the circle and rectangle. Attach L-hooks around the base of the lamp, then bend the cage onto the hooks.
