DIY Ferret Sling Carrier

Sew a carrier to hold your ferret! Cut a rectangle slightly taller than the size needed for the sling, then cut a matching rectangle. Sew the ends of the rectangles together, then fold the long edges of the rectangle inward several inches and sew them in place. Cut two strips of fabric, fold the fabric several times to create a thick, flat tube, and sew the ends in place. Fold the rectangle sling in half lengthwise, sew most of the short sides together, then sew the folded tubes around the top edges of either short side. Cut a long strip of fabric, fold it several times to make a thick strap, then sew either end of the strap onto either side of the sling. Cut a piece of soft fabric for the inside of the sling and sew it in place.
