DIY Deep Water Live Feeder

Create a live feeder for your discus or other fish that prefer to eat in deeper water! Cut off the bottom of a water bottle and drill a large hole in the cap. Use aquarium silicone to glue the bottle cap onto a piece of tubing. Drill two holes in the back of the tubing and attach suction cups to the holes. Cut a piece of plastic mesh, fold the mesh into a cone shape, drill several small holes around the open end of the tube, and attach the mesh cone over the end of the tube with zip ties. Put the feeder on the wall of your tank and put your fish’s food into the water bottle.
